engagement ring wedding review on Round Diamond Solitaire Engagement Size 5 5
I love my ring! I went to a local jewelry chain to get sized and an idea of what size and shape of diamond I may like. I was discouraged by how high all of the jeweler's rings sat and how big they felt. This ring is not small, but it is not obtrusive. It sits low to your finger and glitters beautifully in any light. At a size 6 the center diamond (0.5 carat) sits plenty big for me and the round cut looks nice on my long wiry fingers. The accent diamonds and white gold help the ring shine elegantly; I've received many compliments on it. I paid for half the ring myself and am so glad to have gotten such a beautiful ring, quickly and without hassle. We paid for one day shipping (with Amazon Prime) and it arrived on time!
I can email you pictures of it on my finger if you want, just say so in comments with your email. I submitted my own photos, they were up briefly, and they are gone now; so I assume ND Store takes them down.
I know these things shouldn't matter, but... hahaha. I saw a one carat solitaire ring at Tiffany's for about $8500, a few thousand bucks over my budget. Is one carat considered a large diamond, especially for the average guy looking to propose to his girlfriend? As you can tell, this is my first (and God willing, only) time... :)

ReplyDeleteI'm buying a engagement ring for my girlfriend, I don't know anything about diamond rings. PLEASE HELP! Where do I go? Money is not a problem!
ReplyDeleteI got engaged not too long ago and I'm not too keen on the engagement ring size/cost. I love my ring very much. It's a 2 carat round cut in tiffany setting with .5 cts of channel set diamonds as the band (so total is 2.5 cts, with 2 cts as the solitaire round cut and .5 ct diamond channel set as the band). The quality of the solitaire is vs1 and F. Since I've never paid much attention to engagement rings in general, is this a good size/quality engagement ring compared to the average people?
